There's just something about having your own boat with you on vacation.  The freedom to go when and where you want on the water can not be matched. With the Choctawhatchee Bay to the north and the beautiful emerald green waters of the Gulf to the south, the entire Destin area is virtually surrounded by Water! Whether your plans include soaking up the sun at Crab Island or trying your luck in the area's outstanding fisheries, or both!, prior planning will be the key to your success.

That's where we come in!  When you book your stay through Beach Vacation DESTINation our concierge service includes finding you a slip or dock as close as possible to your rental so you can enjoy more time on the water instead of time in traffic trying to get to your boat.  We will also suggest the most convenient locations to launch and retrieve your boat. 

Transient slips in the area average about $3 per foot of boat length daily, or $15 per foot of boat length on a weekly basis.  A typical launch and retrieve at a marina will cost between $100 and $150, most will store your trailer while the boat is on the water, some charge an additional fee for this service.  There are public boat ramps in the area.  Most of these have a launch fee of up to $25 and and do not provide overnight trailer parking.  Also, they can be very crowded with long wait lines during the high season.
